Frank's POV

About a week after I got the first note from the anonymous, I got another letter from him/her.
Dear Frank,
Sister, I'm not much a poet, but a criminal
And you never had a chance
Love it, or leave it, you can't understand
A pretty face, but you do so carry on,
and on,
and on
The same thing as the last letter. But there was something written at the bottom of the letter.
Go to the lake in the woods at midnight tonight. If you don't, expect bad things to happen to you and your loved ones.
I stared at the threatening sentences. I was scared shit less. I didn't wanna go. What happens if he/she killed me? What happens if he/she rapes me? So many bad things were racing through my mind. I didn't want to go.
But, if I didn't go anonymous said that I should expect bad things to happen to myself and my loved ones. So I guess I have to go.

At midnight, I sat by the pond in the woods like I was told to. My heart raced in my chest. I wiped away little drops of sweat. I was sweating; even though it was the middle of February. My eyes darted around the trees trying to see through the dark, empty, bleak, blackness of the night. I held my freezing hands between my knees, trying to stay warm and to keep them from causing an earthquake.
I heard snapping twigs and crunching dead leaves from behind me. I sprung up from the ground and looked behind me. I didn't see anyone. My breathing began to become quicker. "H-Hello..." I stammered through short, shaky breaths. A figure stepped out from behind a tree. My breathing got quicker. Than another shadow stepped out from behind the trees.
